Seminary
New Orleans, Louisiana
After over 80 years of service and numerous
hurricanes, the last being Katrina, the 22 foot tall
cupola that adorned Shaw Hall at the Notre Dame
Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana needed
replacement.
The cupola, copper finials, a copper dormer and
other custom copper components were all exactly
reproduced in every detail by our personnel.
This project required the following techniques to be
used to complete the work:

Metal Stretching and Metal Shrinking
The metal utilized on this project was 16 ounce
copper, both hardened and dead soft materials. We
also fabricated two Brass Crosses that adorn the
cupola and another Steeple on the grounds.
